The frame of the Mongoose Fireball is a flat top tube technologies 6061 alloy dirt jump frame, the same one as the Hardball. The main tubes feature the Mongoose logo in an embossed design. You get easy height adjustment thanks to the quick release on the seatpost. The Fireball is one of the more hefty bikes of its kind but that means you get ultimate security when the terrain gets a bit tricky. You get a hard kick right from the start and around corners.

Some of the other benefits of the Mongoose Fireball are its ability to handle angles and provide great weight distribution. The top tube lets you adjust your weight around while you are in the air or even on the ground. This bike is all about making an impression. The over-sized bars work to your advantage at ground level and the rear stays are everything but small. While this may not provide the most comfort for long rides, it does the job for rough trails. In other words, the Mongoose Fireball is designed for those short adventurous rides.

With a high quality frame, you can take this bike out for almost any adventure. Although the Fireball is on the heavier side, it will help you feel grounded and have fun while you ride. There are many bikes out there that need a lot of tweaking and changing. The Mongoose Fireball isn’t one of them. The V-brakes, however, might need some attention as they are weather-sensitive and if you are constantly riding through mud. You even get a water bottle cage with this bike just in case you need to replenish after being on rough terrain.
