Giant Anthem Advanced

The Giant Anthem Advanced is a bike designed for cross-country racers. It is all about speed, quality handling and is lightweight. The bike features Giant’s One Composite construction and Maestro Suspension for high performance and high speed XC racing.

The Giant Maestro suspension is known for its floating triangle in the rear. This construction isn’t effected by pedaling or braking on the shocks. The pivot point remains active when you brake. It is also quite sensitive to tiny bumps.

When you ride this bike, you get immediate response regardless of the type of terrain you are on. You won’t feel the need to switch to a stiffer setting. With the Anthem Advanced, you will also experienced better stiffness from the swingarm and link. While this is a speed machine, it takes some confidence to ride on really rocky terrain. For that reason, the Giant Anthem Advanced is probably more suitable for more experienced riders who are daring enough to cross the boundaries.

The full composite suspension frame makes this bike the lightest produced by Giant. The bike has a hyper-light T-800 composite frame. All of the composite parts on the frame are actually built at the Composite Tech Laboratory of Giant. This airiness of the frame allows for smooth riding capabilities and unrivaled performance.

Other features of the Giant Anthem Advanced include an Inertia valve-equipped Fox 32, 80mm suspension fork and Fox Float RP23 rear shock. This offers great tracking and adjustability. A racing bike also needs quality wheels and the Anthem Advanced comes with an ultra-light all new Shimano XTR racing wheelset.
The “Advanced” part of the model name signifies Giant Anthem’s full carbon frame and sets the bar pretty high. The suspension system of the Advanced lets you accelerate at fast speeds and it responds to all bumps.
