Gary Fisher Superfly 100

If you are all pro, the Gary Fisher Supefly is just for you. More and more bikes are coming out with better bike technology and, not to mention, bigger wheels. Superfly is one of those, with its 29ers. At first, it may feel like you are riding a motorcycle but you will quickly get over that.

Once you hop on the Superfly, it won’t take you long until you start going over rough terrain with rocks and tree roots and noticing the ease and comfort of it the experience. This bike features an all carbon mainframe and rear swingarm. Usually, a carbon bike will still have aluminum inserts where the shock connects the frame at the rear. The carbon full-suspension of the Superfly features an all carbon co-molded shock mount for the first time. This means that you will have a lighter and stronger shock mount.

The Active Braking Pivot (ABP) is a real gem as it keeps the suspension active even while you brake. This gives the rider more control while being able to continue moving freely. The ABP technology also enhances the stiffness. The rear pivots are connected by the wheel’s axle. The ABP reduces the lateral flex in the rear swingarm and improves the overall performance of the suspension system.

The bike is lightweight, durable and suitable for smaller riders. With the G2 Geometry, handling becomes more natural. With an increased fork offset, you will experience reduced trail which results in quicker steering. The G2 Geometry allows the wheelbase to stay the same which allows for better climbing and descending.

Gary Fisher Superfly riders will experience better steering ability thanks to the E2 Headtube. This headtube increases stiffness and offers an impressive downtube and headtube junction which ultimately allows for a stiffer frame and more strength.
