Gary Fisher HiFi Pro 29

Gary Fisher is known for crossing boundaries when it comes to big wheels. The frame of the bike is tweaked in it components and angles in order to make the big wheels fit well. At the same time Gary Fisher does a good job of hiding the size of the wheels. In fact, you won’t even notice them until you actually look down.

Aside from the size of the wheels, the Gary Fisher HiFi Pro 29 is fast in almost any situation and it also has easy-rolling. Any changes in the terrain will go unnoticed with this bike.

The frame of the HiFi Pro 29 is not the most attractive one, but it makes sense for its massive wheels. It is an aluminum frame with aluminum chainstays. The chassis, however, has a successful composition and suits the technology of the HiFi. The bike features an asymmetric swingarm at the rear which helps reduce clatter from the chainslap. What you should give a second thought is riding through mud as the mud clearance on this bike is a bit doubtful.

The Gary Fisher HiFi Pro 29 features Float RP23 rear shock which offers a very flexible ride. The front of the bike has been designed with G2 geometry in order to make up for the heaviness of the wheels while turning. Above all, the custom fork crown increases offset which makes the steering a lot faster.

All in all, the bike offers a smoother ride that is more comfortable for the experienced rider. The bike is also designed to be faster than most other smaller-sized bikes when trailing on rough ground.
