What would be better a hardtail mountain bike or a full suspension mountain bike?

Im going to spend 0 on a bike to commute on. I live on dirt roads. I want a bike to commute on 20 miles away. I will ride on 4 miles of dirt roads and the rest is paved roads. What would be best a hybrid,hardtail mountain bike or a full suspension mountain bike?

How do I build a Mountain Bike from scratch?

I am looking to build a full suspension mountain bike. I am not looking for the absolute best, but I am looking for a relatively decent one. I would say I am looking to spend 00. Can I get more for my $$ if I build myself or just buy a bike? What I would like to see is a list of components that would get me a complete mountain built from scratch. What can I expect from a Mountain Bike Trail?

I’m planning to go biking in a Mountain Bike Trail but I’ve never been or seen a mountain bike trail, so I was wondering what will I see once I get there, I mean, are the paths always made of concrete (like a sidewalk) or is it a natural path?
Also I need to buy a bike to go there, what would you recomend me and in what price range are the Mountain Bike Trail bikes?

How much of a disadvantage is it to get mountain biking shoes instead of road biking shoes for a road bike?

It seems like there’s a lot of disparity from one brand’s shoe to the next, whether the shoes are made for road biking or mountain biking. Some mountain biking shoes seem more comfortable for everyday use or for walking. What’s the downside in getting mountain biking shoes for a road bike?

What is a good, solid mountain bike for not too much money?

My family has just started going mountain biking at various parks and other locations and I realized my old bike is a little small. I need a full sized men’s mountain bike with full suspension and (preferrably) disc brakes. I am hoping to spend around 0.00 but if it’s worth it, I can spend more.
Any insight about a mountain bike around this price will be very helpful.

What mountain bike is good for the road more than the rough terrain??

I have heard that there are mountain bikes that are good for all terrains but perform better on smooth surfaces also. Can anyone recommend a bike that is like this and isn’t overly expensive. I was thinking about getting a Columbia trail head Mt bike. Any other suggestions?

I’d like to get a new bike, soon. I live in a very urban area, so initially I thought a road bike would suit me best, but I will need to use it when I go camping and stuff. If I am going to need a bike for both pavement and rugged terrain, would a mountain bike be my best choice?

I know about hybrids, but I have been told by many people that they are pointless and are not really great for anything, just ok for both roads and off-road.
